Come and meet Forest’s Friends:
Dawn
Dawn is a 15 year old yellow lab mix dog. She has been a sweet and lovable dog ever since. Dawn was already named when we bought her from the Humane Society in 1995. We kept the name because she brightens up every morning with her greetings. She is one of the most adaptable dogs ever. Dawn has had three different doggie companions (including Oreo), co-existed with a cat named Maggie (who had to be given away due to family allergies), seen our family increase in size from 2-5 people (we had triplet girls in 1999), and the additions of Cinnamon the hamster and Forest the ferret. Dawn loves to go for walks in the woods and play with Oreo. Dawn also enjoys riding in pickup trucks and snowplowing. She also loves to hunt and fish with her family.
Oreo
Oreo is a purebred English Springer Spaniel we purchased from a farm in 2005. Oreo is a member of the American Kennel Club and is 1 year old. Oreo is black and white, like an Oreo cookie. She loves to chase squirrels and birds. Oreo has a high level of energy and enjoys playing football and baseball with her family. Oreo is also very calm in a canoe or kayak.
Cinnamon
Cinnamon is a short haired hamster from a pet store. She is 1 year old. Cinnamon is the color of the spice also called cinnamon. Cinnamon is very fast in her red car and in her green ball. She also loves to run on her wheel.
The Fish
The fish have come in stages. We won two goldfish from a school fun night in 2006 and two more goldfish from the school fun night in 2007. The black and white fish were new additions in 2006. The fish live next to Forest the ferret because their tank is next to his cage.
Garth
A recent addition is a leopard gecko named Garth.
Brownie
Brownie the guinea pig is the newest addition to our family.
